because we're in glasgow, and its our birthdays...

.we went for a picnic ! . The weather was too lovely and rare to miss. . so i got us some sandwich materials, i.e. luncheon meat, eggs, cucumbers, roti.. and mixed up some simply fine sandwiches. Pop them in a tupperware and off we go in search of a hill. hill, hill. . hm.. hill. couldnt think of a hill around these parts, decided ok la go the park... and then, mr chong suddenly took a left turn into the short dodge tunnel that leads to dono where. Oo, mystery, i said. We drove abit, still in search of a hill.. . saw signs for Kajang Hill, got our hopes up when the road seemed like it was getting higher, then just when we hoped it would go 'up summore..!' it went back to flat. Rough up and down terrains for the space in us that hoped for a picnic on a hill. Nevermind, drive drive... reach dead end. and then raining. so we just had our picnic in the car... but its ok cos the sky was blue, the air was cool, there were swallows ("why are they called swallows?") flying around, and there was green green lalang.

And ice cream. did i mention we got a tub of ice-cream?. The ice-cream was surprisingly not bad, and we couldn't have asked for more ...
